Suzuki RE5 Rotary
There are few bikes with more of a history than the RE5. Suzuki were convinced that the rotary engine was the future of motorcycle engines and invested heavily in plant and equipment to manufacture these bikes. The buying public didn't see it that way and as a result not many of these bikes were sold. That makes this quite a rare bike these days.
This example has not been out in the daylight since 1995. This bike formed part of a private collection of rotary engine powered vehicles but the owner was primarily a car guy so it was not used or run during his ownership.
The motor turns and has compression but we have not tried to start it. You can reserve this bike and buy it "untouched" right now or if we don't secure a new owner once it arrives we may try to re-commission it but running, it will be at a higher price. These bikes can fetch north of 10k once restored so there is plenty of value waiting to be added. A great investment and worthwhile project.
